The Gartner 2026 Market Guide - Now Featuring Darwin

Haider Nazar

Darwin by Maha Global has been named by Gartner as a reputational intelligence vendor in the 2026 Market Guide

Gartner just published its 2026 Market Guide for Reputation Intelligence and Related Solutions.

As part of that analysis, they initiated coverage on Maha Global. That is a real credential for a company our size, and I am proud of the team.

The more interesting story in the guide is not who got in. It is how Gartner segmented the market.

The three Distinct Categories From Gartner

  • Reputation trackers: Where a company's reputation stands, how it is moving, and what is driving that movement. The intelligence layer boards and CROs need to govern reputation the way they already govern cyber and financial risk.

  • Narrative control: Shaping outcomes once a story is already forming. Crisis response, executive positioning, coordinated communications infrastructure.

  • Media monitoring: Capturing what is being said across channels at scale. The oldest and most mature layer, and what most of the new AI entrants are trying to differentiate against.

A word about the vendors who are not in the guide. The category has attracted a wave of new AI entrants over the last eighteen months. Many are impressive as demos and unproven under enterprise conditions. Gartner's inclusion criteria are demanding: real customer references, sustained revenue, and enough analyst rigor to withstand a briefing. Buyers should read the omission as information rather than accident.

Most importantly - a general-purpose AI wrapped in reputation-flavored prompts, is not the same thing as an intelligence system that has to defend its outputs to a risk committee. An intelligence system is built on a strong, battle-tested AI model, with a lot of underlying data.

If your team is evaluating something dramatically cheaper than the enterprise options, ask three questions before you sign.

  • What is the source classification methodology, and who reviews it?

  • What is the audit trail when a claim was flagged incorrectly?

  • Who is on the phone when the board asks why last week's brief missed something material?

If the answers are vague, the price is not cheap. It is a deferred cost. Darwin by Maha Global, is in the reputation tracker segment.

If you are trying to figure out which of the three segments matches the reputation problem you actually have, I am happy to help think it through. Independent of whether we are the right answer.
